# Overview

> Cobalt owns the EHR account lifecycle: activation, MFA, and password rotation

## Overview

With Managed Accounts, Cobalt owns the entire lifecycle of the EHR user account behind a connection. Your team never logs into the EHR. Cobalt activates the account, sets up and manages multi-factor authentication, and rotates the password ahead of every expiry policy, so the connection stays live without anyone on your side maintaining credentials.

Managed Accounts are currently available for eClinicalWorks. Contact us to enable them for your account.
